    Default Your Favourite Sevy

Is it just me or is Nanaimo obsessed with 7-11? Everytime I go in one there is a line up of ten people! It moves fast but its just always surprising to see the number of people in there. I used to go to the Harewood one, but now the Pryde St. location is the closest. Whats your favourite Sevy? I will miss the friendly staff at the Harewood location!! I usually like to pick up sour keys and Kit Kat when I go in, but their wings are really good too.

I needed to read your post to figure out what the heck a "Sevy" is, so that probably answers your question about why others don't have one.

I will stop at the Uplands/Dover location maybe twice a year in summer, to get a Slurpee (and then a Slurpee headahce).

Sevy has some good treats once in a while. The pizza is cheap. And the dogs are ok. If I am on the go and need something to hold me off for a bit, I'll stop in there and grab a quick bite. Other than that, it ain't my main shopping destination, just simply because of the high prices. Having said that, I hear sevy stores make money hand over fist.

Oh thank you, Flugel Horn. Yes, I never heard the term "Sevy" until I moved to the Island. I am from Ontario and we have Mac's out there; but, it used to be called Mac's Milk. So sometimes when i am up by the country club I may say "Lets go to Mac's Milk" and my friend thinks thats funny b/c it was never called that here.

Just got back from Thailand where there seems to be a "sevy" on every corner. Near where i stayed there were 4 within a mile of each other. There they call them "seven"

I did spend a lot of time in the Quarterway 7-11 while in grade 7, but it was mostly due to the arcade game in the corner. They pretty much murdered all those great old corner stores.

7/11 may not dominate the cdn or even usa market anymore (timmies, and dunkin does)...
but overseas, 7/11 is king. Hong Kong, Egypt, Africa...

my fav is the one at the north end of uplands for a slurpee

and the correct term is BRAIN FREEZE.
