A good place for oysters and mussels?

Hi guys,

is there an area nearby where I can find clean, plentiful oysters and mussels?

I used to go to nanoose bay but was (rudely, with legal threats) informed that the area is all privately owned and I may not fish there.

I'm not looking for seriously large quantities, just for personal consumption.
