I just discovered this forum, wish I knew about it sooner. I think its a great idea, I've found a lot of interesting information that I was completely unaware of before.

I read the entire thread about the old zoo and the incident with the lion, it was very cool seeing the collective tidbits everyone was able to contribute.
I'm looking forward to keeping up with the various threads from here on out

Yeah the threads like the old zoo, the Chinatown and "haunted locations" will probably continue to have people comment on them for years to come. Local lore is a popular thing here it seems.

Hmm... that gives me an idea. I have this great photo of the bastion that I had professionally scanned from what I believe to be the orignal photo that is hanging at the downtown office of my I put it on my website. It's about a hundred years old, maybe a bit more. That might make a good thread. I bet there are lots of good stories about that thing floating around.

Ok, never mind. I can't figure out how to resize the image so that it fits on the screen. It looked hilariously large.
