and a bottle of ice cold water during this hot weather. I started doing it a few years ago and I've never been turned down. My regular delivery people are used to it now, but newbies are surprised and very, very grateful. It's such a little thing but it's obviously appreciated.

I really have trouble buying bottled water when we in Nanaimo can get perfectly good water from our taps at a fraction of the price. Then there is the environmental factor with the plastic bottles.

Agreed. Vancouver Island has some of the BEST drinking water in the world. I chuckle slightly when I see someone buying bottled water!

Duncan has the best water on the island. I dont know what it is about it, but i find it better than even Tofino water. Im not a huge fan of Nanaimo water, but i still drink it

i buy bottled water here cause its better than pop or juice or all the other crap that you get in a bottle. and i can reuse the bottle. its resealable. i can clean it with soap and water and cart it around with me until i need to replace it (aka throw it in the recycling and buy a new one).
