    Default Little George's After Renovations

My wife and I have had Little George's pizza before and it was great. But their restaurant was always busy and cramped so we usually just did takeout.

When a neighbouring business moved out, Little George's expanded and so we decided to go there and try out their new location.

Here are my ratings of the "New" Little George's.

Decor: The new decor is great. I am not fond of black, but the decor is modern without being cold. I give it 9 out of 10.

Ambiance: The restaurant has a really nice feel to it that would normally have resulted in a high ranking from me, but two things lowered it.

    1. Televisions: They had a couple of large screen TVs put up which are very distracting. TVs are fine in a sports bar but are inappropriate in a restaurant. I find it really takes away from my experience when there are screens flashing all around.

    2. Music: They had the local radio station playing which means we were subjected to a bunch of ads, commercials, and a lot of bad music.

Overall for ambience: 7 out of 10.

Service: The service was friendly: 9 out of 10.

Food: Once again the pizza was great. My wife and I prefer thin crust pizza which Little George's doesn't do, but when we requested a thinner crust, they did make it thinner. But it is not true thin crust pizza. But the flavours are excellent.

Food score 9.5 out of 10.

Overall: Great food, great new decor, excellent service. Just need to fix the TV and music problem. I give them 8.5 out of 10 overall.

Did they expand the one in the south end or north?

The South end one. I think the North end one is just takeout, but I am not sure.
