Midwives in Nanaimo

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Nanaimo, and my husband and I are currently trying to conceive. Does anyone have any personal experience with any of the midwife groups in Nanaimo? I would love to hear some recommendations (or warnings!) about them before the time comes to choose a practice. The most important factor for me is someone who is very experienced and knowledgable. A great personality/attitude would be a bonus!

I had Laurie as a midwife, she is a wonderful lady, made the whole experience joyful. She is very informative, caring and respectful. I will definitely be going to her again when/if I have another child.

Thanks Eve! Congratulations on your little one, and I'm glad to hear you had such a wonderful experience. I heard another recommendation for Mid-Island Midwifery as well, so I think I will definitely go with them when the time comes.
