This writer hasn't been to the Mahle House – but the place gets too many great reviews on our forum to be left out of our Nanaimo Restaurants guide.
The Mahle House is a country dining experience overlooking a garden, in an old restored 1903 house in Cedar, the rural community just south of Nanaimo (15 min by car).
The dining experience is exquisite, drawing from local food resources including the property's own garden. Their menu changes all the time! There's a good wine list, too, we're told.
