Mambo Pizza (often misspelled as Mambo's) is among the elite in the Nanaimo pizza scene. It can be a good place to sit-in at the window and to watch a colourful section of downtown Nanaimo while you eat. While the slices cost thrice as much as what you'd pay in Vancouver, the Mambo Pizza product also has four times the quality of good ol' Love at First Bite in the big city.
Take note! The Mambo staff allow you to make strange requests, like getting two distinct toppings combos on a pizza half-and-half; and then getting half soy-cheese, but with the cheese division being perpendicular to that of the toppings, so you get four kinds of slices in a single pizza.
