All About the Harbour City

2007 Nanaimo Marine Festival & Bathtub Races

Coming in July!

The Nanaimo Marine Festival is considered by many residents and returning visitors to be the event of the year. "There's the Bathtub Races, and all the days in between." That kind of thing.

This year sees the 43rd Anniversary of the International World Championship Bathtub Race, the event around which the Marine Festival revolves. No matter what you're into, it's likely you'll find something to entertain you during this exciting Festival, even if it's just experiencing the craziness in the "Bavarian Gardens" (beer gardens).

What follows is the event info from the 2006 Bathtub Weekend - Yeah, it's outdated.

We compiled all the info we could find. This should have been quite helpful, because we removed all of the redundant sponsored-by's and other useless plugs that the organizers can't omit in their brochures and schedules without displeasing the corporate advertisers.
