Pleasant Valley, Nanaimo
This writer's not familiar with the Pleasant Valley neighbourhood of north Nanaimo, but here are some quotes from our forum:
"Pleasant Valley is bordered by Mostar on the South side, Island Hwy on the east and Brannen Lake on the west side and then Aulds Rd to the North."

"We just looked at homes for sale in Pleasant Valley yesterday. It's an area on the edge of Brannen Lake between Doumont Road and Dunster Road generally. The lots are smaller and there are few sidewalks, however the street light poles all have hanging flower baskets, and the neighborhood provides a gated secure area to park boats and campers. I'm not sure of this, but I would guess there are architectural controls in place, which would mandate a certain style of home to be built.
Some of this area is close to the Nanaimo Parkway, so traffic noise can be an issue."
