Red circle shows approximate location of Pleasant ValleyPleasant Valley is a beautiful area in North Nanaimo, near Brannen Lake and Woodgrove Mall. The neighbourhood's southern border would be Mostar Rd, the Island Hwy marks the east side, Doumont Rd is to the west, and Aulds Rd marks the northern end.
As somebody mentioned in our forum, "Many of the lots are smaller and there are few sidewalks, however the street light poles all have hanging flower baskets, and the neighborhood provides a gated secure area to park boats and campers. I'm not sure of this, but I would guess there are architectural controls in place, which would mandate a certain style of home to be built. Some of this area is close to the Nanaimo Parkway, so traffic noise can be an issue."
