Any field you leave blank, will simply not show on the final document. The heading will not show — nobody will know that you decided to leave that field blank.

You have to give your email address to US (NanaimoInformation.com) so that we know you're not a spambot. However, there is a checkbox which prevents your email address showing on our site. Including your email address on the resume makes you more accessible to some employers, but it may expose you to spam email from those who can see your email address on NanaimoInformation.com. None of your information will be used for anything other than displaying your identity in the resume/employment section of NanaimoInformation.com, for the purposes of bringing you together with employers.
Categories and Meta Tags
(required field)

Choose a main category for your resume to be listed in. This helps employers to look in specific categories of work to find relevant resumes. In other words, if you're looking for work as a teacher, you should choose the "Education" category. You can also choose up to four secondary categories for your resume to be listed under.
The Page Title is the meta title of the page your resume will be listed on. You should write a short (max 70 characters), readable title which describes what kind of person or resume is posted on your resume page. It's a good idea to think about what your potential employer will search for in Google when they're looking for someone to hire. For instance, a teacher looking for work in Nanaimo might enter a title like this: "Nanaimo Secondary School Teacher for Hire: English and Literature". Note how some of the words in the title may help a search engine to bring your employer to your resume, if they search for "hire nanaimo secondary teacher", or a similar query. You may want to use the word "resume" in your title, like this: "Nanaimo Carpenter Resume: Joiner and Roofer for Hire".
The Meta Description shows in the search engines' results pages, under the meta title of your page. So if someone searches in Google for someone with your qualifications, they will see this description, which may cause them to click on your page. So, your meta description should be a couple of sentences about how your page has a resume for someone qualified in your field.
Most wemasters agree that meta keywords don't count for much. You could write a couple of things in this field, though, in case meta keywords really ARE taken into account.

We recommend using a smaller photo, less than 2 MB. Click on "browse" to select a photo from your computer, and then click on "upload" to include it in your resume.
