If you live in the mid-Island and haven't heard of The Lantzville Foothills, it means three things:
- You haven't been hiking enough
- You're not following local politics
- You're not planning your dream home overlooking a phenomenal view
The hiker should know this place as a beautiful system of arbutus groves and mossy lookouts.
If you followed local matters, you'd know that this development (which started and failed under different ownership during the Great Recession) has been a hot-button topic for Lantzville residents and local politics.
And anyone with the capital to build a luxurious home - with the desire to spend a little more on the SITE in order to secure a priceless view - would certainly have heard about The Lantzville Foothills - now shortened to just The Foothills.
I've been watching this development closely and will be studying the details in order to help buyers to secure these properties.
Tour the Site this Weekend (Apr08/09)
This weekend, from 12pm to 5pm each day, the site will be open to the public to access the lots by hiking, or by bringing a 4x4. I have a Jeep and would be happy to bring anyone who is serious about buying property here or anywhere else in the Nanaimo area. If you're interested, please give me as much notice as possible and let me know which slot you're interested in (earlier/later Sat/Sun).
