Manufactured Homes in Cedar/Extension/Cassidy
There are eight manufactured home parks between Chase River and Ladysmith – there are 3 in Cedar, 1 is up Spruston Road near the River, and 4 more parks are in Cassidy, near the Nanaimo Airport. I'll touch on each one below, and then I'll post the current listings.
Cassidy (55+) - 1572 Seabird Rd. Ten minute drive to Ladysmith shopping or various outdoor opportunities like the Nanaimo River swimming holes, Haslam Creek, and the ocean parks of Cedar and Yellowpoint. Pets allowed with approval.
Cedar Meadow (Brown's) - 1385 MacMillan Rd. Near the Duke Point Highway. On First Nations land; no property tax. Family friendly, pets allowed.
Cedar Ridge (55+) - 2161 Walsh Rd. Close to Cedar Skate Park and Cedar Secondary School. Walking distance to groceries, short driving distance to Cable Bay Trail. No pets allowed.
Forest Glade - Up Spruston Rd, near Nanaimo River. Access can be difficult as you can't turn north onto the highway from Spruston Rd. Family friendly, 2 small pets allowed.
Rondalyn Resort (pet/age status unknown) - 1350 Timberlands Rd. On beautiful Haslam Creek, near the suspension bridge. Two pets allowed.
Seabird - 3449 Hallberg Rd. Very close to Cassidy and Timberlands MHPs. Dogs up to 35lbs allowed (no aggressive breeds).
Timberlands (half is 55+, half is not) - 3560 Hallberg Rd. Two small(?) pets allowed.
Zuiderzee (no pets) - 2575 Enefer Rd. Located in a beautiful rural location on Quennell Lake deep in Cedar. No pets allowed.
