This is a very central location close to VIU, downtown, bus routes, and lots of parks. The university is less than 3km by car or by the #40 bus (a 5 minute ride). There is also a more picturesque route to VIU for those walking or biking, which is 2.32km and goes through a couple parks. (See this satellite view of the routes.)

Downtown is a 17 minute walk away, the university is about 12 minutes' walk, and the bus stops directly adjacent to the complex service all directions regularly.
