Thetis Island is directly across the water from Ladysmith and Chemainus. At just 2,560 acres, it's much smaller than Gabriola Island (14,233 acres) - but it's bigger than Mudge, Ruxton, and Decourcy Islands combined.

This is probably the smallest island that is serviced by BC Ferries, which means it's a great island for people who want both quiet and convenience. There is a pub and marina, a pizza restaurant, and a coffee shop! Thetis Island also has its own volunteer fire department.
