Brannen Lake

For those familiar with Nanaimo but unsure where Brannen Lake is: it's the big one you can see from the Parkway when you're between Mostar and Woodgrove.

This lake is notable for being wide and beautiful, but also for its recreational assets:

  • Regularly stocked with rainbow and cutthroat trout and smallmouth bass
  • There is a boat launch for motorized boats (water skiing is popular here)
  • Beside the launch is a small park with swimming beach and dock
