Haslam Creek

Haslam Creek feeds into the Nanaimo River just below the highway bridge at Cassidy - near the airport. 

The creek cuts a long 10km from its high origins on McKay Peak, down the canyons to the alluvial flatlands that form much of Cedar. Haslam Creek quickly joins the Nanaimo River near the fish hatchery behind the Cassidy rest stop. 

The Trans Canada Trail crosses Haslam Creek with a suspension bridge that is worth a visit. I won't try to provide directions here but you can easily find it with a quick online search.
